Dismantling Information

To ensure the dismantling of the exhibition proceeds as smoothly as possible, please observe the following information.

The exhibition closes at 5:00pm on Tuesday 4 June 2024.

Move-out will not commence until the halls are clear of visitors and it is safe to do so. Under no circumstances will children 15 years of age and under be allowed in the halls or on the loading dock during move-out. An announcement over the PA system will inform you when it is safe for move-out to commence. In the interests of Occupational Health & Safety no product (and out of courtesy to your visitors), furniture or stand dressing materials may be removed from the exhibition before 5:00pm. Security guards will not allow you to pack up and leave prior to the show close at 5:00pm.

The loading dock will be closed to all vehicles until approximately 6:00pm.

This is to allow for the distribution of empty pallets and packing materials back to stands. Entry to the loading dock will be via Darling Drive. Only vehicles over 1.8m high can access the loading dock, all other vehicles will be directed to the car park located under the venue. Vehicles under 1.8m can access the hall from the ICC Car Park utilising lift 6ONLY. Exhibitors with small hand carried items are encouraged to use the car park below the exhibition centre and exit via the front of the halls to prevent being delayed on the loading dock.

PLEASE NOTE: We anticipate delays on the dock during the move-out. The above-mentioned times are an approximate guide only.

Safety Precautions

  • Safety Vests must be worn during move out (please bring your own). Move out will not commence until all visitors have left the venue and all exhibitors are wearing a safety vest;
  • Trolleys are permitted on the concourse and can be taken through the front doors during move out;
  • No open toe shoes are permitted to be worn during move out. Please ensure appropriate footwear is worn by all staff dismantling your stand otherwise you will be asked to leave;
  • Children 15 years of age and under will not be allowed in the pavilions or loading dock during Move Out. No exceptions;
  • Consumption of alcohol is prohibited during move out. Move out will not commence until all consumption has ceased.

Move Out will not commence and the loading dock doors will not be opened until these precautions are complied with. Failure to adhere to these instructions will result in a slower move out for all.

Power

Power to the stands will be switched off half an hour after the show closes, please make sure all transactions reliant on power are completed by this time.

Loading Dock Access

Access to the loading dock will be via the front of the halls. Exhibitors will have access to the loading dock at approximately 6.00pm. Until this time, items may only be hand carried through the concourse doors at the front of the hall and transported to the car park via Lift 6.  Vehicles are permitted to stay on the loading dock for a maximum of 15 minutes. If you think you will require more than 15 minutes loading time, please liaise directly with loading dock staff.

Please note that local authorities may ask vehicles to move on if they are queuing on the road for lengthy periods of time. Vehicles must not be left unattended in the queue at any time.

Security

For security purposes it is recommended that all valuable, portable items, product and stand dressing materials are removed from the exhibition halls by 10.00pm Tuesday 4 June 2024.  Please ensure all items are removed including items inside hired furniture as it will be removed overnight. Should you foresee any difficulty complying with this policy please contact the organisers at the Exhibitor Services Desk, located on Level 2, Hall 3 – Registration Desk.

Stand Building Materials and Product

All remaining space only exhibits and stand building materials must be completely removed from the exhibition no later than 2.00pm on Wednesday 5 June 2024. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Stand dismantle and removal of product and build materials is the responsibility of the exhibitor and/or their stand builder. Any stand or product that is left by the exhibitor without instruction at the completion of move out will be dismantled by the organiser. All associated labour, fork lifting, rubbish removal and storage costs will be borne by the exhibitor.

If you have not organised a courier to collect your goods before midday on Wednesday 5 June 2024, please contact the Operations Manager, we will put you in touch with GEL Events who will be able to assist with the movement and interim storage of your goods.

If you are using alternate freight forwarder to collect your goods from the exhibition, these need to be packed and clearly labelled with a signed consignment note and left on your stand space. All items must be collected by the move out times detailed above. If your freight forwarder is not able to collect the items by this time, please see GEL Events for storage options. Any items not removed from the venue by the times above will be considered rubbish and disposed of. Costs may be incurred for disposal.

Food Charity Donations

This year Naturally Good has partnered with Foodbank. Foodbank volunteers will be onsite from 4:30pm Tuesday 4th June. Should any exhibitors have excess stock they would like to donate, please bring your product to the storage area at the Front of Hall 3.
